Can Other People’s Energy Vibes Affect You?

Have you ever noticed how a person in a bad mood can walk into a room and instantly change the atmosphere? Suddenly, the air feels heavy, and everyone becomes more irritable and tense. Conversely, someone in a joyful mood can lighten the room, sparking laughter and smiles. What’s happening here? From an energetic perspective, the person entering the room is shifting the vibrations of everyone present, either raising them or lowering them to match their own. Each of us emits a unique vibration, influenced by our predominant thoughts and feelings at any given moment. For instance, if one person is experiencing happy thoughts and positive emotions, they emit a high vibration. In contrast, someone dwelling on negative thoughts might resonate at a much lower frequency. When these individuals interact, one of three scenarios can unfold. Scenario 1: If the person with the higher vibration maintains a stable frequency, they can uplift the lower vibration of the other person. For example, Mr. Yellow Smiley Man is in a fantastic mood because he’s celebrating his birthday. He decides not to let anything deter his joy, skipping around and humming his favorite tune. When he encounters Mr. Green Smiley Man, who is feeling down due to traffic issues, Mr. Yellow’s stable positivity gradually raises Mr. Green’s mood. If they spend enough time together and Mr. Yellow remains stable, Mr. Green will eventually feel just as cheerful. Scenario 2: Conversely, if the person with the lower vibration is more stable in their negativity, they can bring down the higher vibration of the other person. In this case, Mr. Green Smiley Man is stuck in a rut, constantly complaining about his job. When he meets Mr. Yellow Smiley Man, who’s initially in a good mood after finding a great parking spot, Mr. Green’s negativity starts to seep in. Before long, Mr. Yellow finds himself drawn into Mr. Green’s complaints, which lower his vibes until they match. Scenario 3: If both individuals maintain strong, stable vibrations in their respective moods, either may feel an urge to distance themselves. You might recall instances where a perpetually cheerful person annoyed you during a rough day. This tug-of-war of vibrations creates a ripple effect, causing discomfort and the instinct to separate. When we’re not conscious of our energetic state, it can lead to two outcomes: Firstly, we tend to cling more firmly to negative vibrations, making it easier for someone in a bad mood to bring us down than vice versa. Secondly, we become vulnerable to the influences of those around us. This creates a cycle where lower vibrations spread rapidly. However, we can break this cycle by learning to stabilize our vibrations. So, how do we achieve this? Start by gradually raising your emotional state, even when you’re feeling low. Focus on thoughts that lift your spirits. Just like when it’s your birthday, you can choose to protect your happiness from negativity. Deliberately focus on what’s good in your life—a beautiful day, a friendly smile, a healthy family. These intentional thoughts help anchor your vibration. As you practice maintaining a stable, positive frequency, you’ll find that those in bad moods either shift in your presence or feel compelled to distance themselves. The Law of Attraction kicks in, and they will gravitate away from you. More importantly, if you’re truly stable in your high vibration, you won’t let their negativity affect you anymore. Should you feel your mood slipping, remind yourself to focus on positive thoughts. By doing this, you not only hold onto your higher frequency but also attract more positivity into your life. Your world will transform into a friendlier, more beautiful place.

Written by a 90 year old!! 42 lessons life taught me

It is something we should all read at least once a week! Make sure you read to the end! Written by Regina Brett, 90 years old, of the Plain Dealer, Cleveland, Ohio.“To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 42 lessons life taught me. It is the most requested column I’ve ever written. My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more:

Raising Your Vibration

Vibrating your energy through meditation involves connecting with your inner energy centers, raising your vibration, and cultivating a sense of alignment and harmony within yourself. Here are some steps to help you vibrate your energy through meditation: By incorporating these steps into your meditation practice, you can raise your energetic vibration, align with your inner essence, and experience a sense of clarity, vitality, and connection with the universal energy around you.

Understanding The Law of Circulation

Want money flowing in? Want love flowing in? Want new opportunities to show up? Then where might your circulation cycle be plugged up or clogged up? Where is it that you can initiate movement with giving or sharing in your life? Where is it you keep waiting for “something to happen” yet you have not contributed to the circulation cycle? Where is it you are frustrated or things are delaying? This is the very area where you want to be sure to get things moving by sending out, by giving, by sharing, by putting energy into the cycle of circulation!! And most importantly, circulation is magnetic! The world itself spins in a circle and its spinning (along with the counter-balancing of the moon’s energy field) is what creates gravity – the magnetism that keeps things from floating off into space. You can change your mind and increase your magnetism. You can change your words and increase your magnetism. You can change your attitude and increase your magnetism…All of these add energy to the cycle. The Law of Circulation states that, “To whom you give is not necessarily from whom you receive.” I hope you write that down. The person that you give to, energetically speaking, is not necessarily the person you will receive from. This is also connected to the Law of Cause and Effect, another universal law. When you trust God will provide for all your needs and everything comes from Him, you can release. Holding onto things you don’t need translates into holding onto a mentality of lack. I’m a firm believer in God, but you can use Universe, Higher Power or whatever term makes you feel comfortable. There were years during my recovery of abuse that I got rid of “God” and used a sphere a light instead. Giving freely activates the Law of Tenfold Return… for every good you give, you receive a minimum tenfold return. Whatever you want more of… give it away. Giving freely activates the Law of Tenfold Return… for every good you give, you receive a minimum tenfold return. Whatever you want more of… give it away.

Understanding The Law of Attraction

The law of attraction states that every positive or negative event that happens with you was attracted by you. To attract abundance you have to be able to attract the right energy to you and around you. You have to know how to attract positivity instead of negativity. Moving yourself into a higher vibrational state of joy, love, appreciation, praise or gratitude are emotional states that increase the rate of vibration in comparison to slower and lower emotional states like anger, jealously, grief, shame, apathy or resentment. Do you realize that you can change your emotional state by changing your thoughts? By the way, did you know that your feelings FOLLOW your thoughts? Not the other way around? When you change your emotional state to increasingly positive states, you are adding more and more energy to your vibrational field, and thus increasing your magnetism! Isn’t this amazing!?!?!

Easy Steps Towards Building Self-Confidence

Self Awareness is a self-change when you look at from a detached perspective that will cause change to happen on an unconscious level. 1. Make a list of all your good points. Survey them carefully. 2. Read, it can help you program your mind. 3. Take up a hobby. It will give you a sense of achievement that you are capable of doing something that other people are not capable of. 4. Join a club. You get to associate with other likeminded people. Join in some of the activities that they do. Once you find people you can relate to, you can then grow together. 5. Attend workshops. Think of the things that you are interested in and join workshops. 6. Join a gym. There is nothing like it to boost your confidence.
